Automatic renewals are only for those customers paying by monthly direct debit. We will email you your renewal offer which will clearly state whether your policy will automatically renew. You can also view your renewal status in My Account which will show whether your policy will automatically renew or not. If the policy isn’t set to automatically renew, you can continue online to view further detail of the terms and cover, and pay using your card or opt to continue on direct debit. If you don’t want to renew, don’t just cancel your direct debit with the bank as this will not cancel the policy, it only cancels your payment via your credit agreement with Premium Credit Ltd. You need to let us know as we administer the policy.

Policies that are paid annually by card do not renew automatically, they will lapse on expiry date of the policy if we don’t receive a payment from you by this point. You don’t need to tell us if you no longer need the insurance from renewal e.g. you’re moving abroad, as it will lapse.

Your Renewal Offer will be uploaded ready for you to view in My Account 25 days ahead of your renewal date

We will email you about your renewal offer approximately 25 days before your policy’s renewal date, notifying you that it’s ready to view in your online account. Please remember to check your email’s spam folder, as our emails may sometimes be mistakenly filtered there.

Automatic renewal of your policy, or ‘auto-renewal,’ depends on the specifics of your renewal offer and your chosen payment method. We guarantee to inform you about your new renewal offer before any policy renewal occurs. Please refer to the ‘What happens next‘ section in your renewal offer email. It will clarify whether your policy will auto-renew or if you need to contact us to proceed. Auto-renewal is designed to ensure your coverage continues without interruption.

Certainly! When you receive your renewal offer, you have the flexibility to switch your payment method from monthly direct debit to an annual payment by card, and vice versa. Easily make this adjustment by logging into My Account.

If you pay annually and decide not to renew, there’s no need to notify us. The policy will naturally lapse on its expiry date. However, if you pay monthly by direct debit and have auto-renewal set up, please inform us if you wish to stop the automatic renewal process.
